Berger's Briefs
Has former Clinton administration national security adviser Samuel R. "Sandy" Berger slipped under everyone's radar since we now have the oil-for-food program to investigate? He was supposedly under criminal investigation for removing copies of highly classified documents from the National Archives by stuffing them in his "briefs", but we haven't heard a peep about it for months. While Martha Stewart sits in the hoosegow for merely lying to the FBI about an incident that turned out to be not a crime, Mr. Berger is cavorting about after apparently admitting he surreptitiously removed the highly classified documents and then 'inadvertently' threw them out.
