Chirac Seeking New Career As Stand-Up Comeddian

Patrick Barkham is reporting in the Guardian that French president Jacques Chirac insulted the British cuisine just prior to the G8 summit which will be held in Gleneagles, Scotland, beginning Wednesday.

Jacques Chirac stirred the pot at a meeting in Russia on Sunday when he joked to Vladimir Putin and Gerhard Schröder that the British could not be trusted and worse food was only found in Finland.

In light of his comments, Chirac should probably bring a personal food taster to the summit just to be on the safe side.
