Boycott Procter & Gamble
I wrote to Proctor & Gamble a week ago and received a promise that they would get back to me about their boycott of the Glen Beck show on FOX News. I have not received a reply to date.
I am assuming from their silence that they have, in fact, removed their advertising from the Beck show and have decided that they have no desire to do business with listeners and/or viewers of Beck's show.
If you would like to show your displeasure with Procter & Gamble, let them know with your pocketbook. There are many great alternatives to Tide laundry detergent, Bounty paper towels, Charmin toilet paper, and Duracell batteries, etc. Click here to view a list of Proctor & Gamble products they would rather you not purchase if you support Glen Beck.
Update: While Procter & Gamble does not seem to be advertising on Glen Beck's show, they are advertising on MSNBC shows such as blow hard Keith Olbermann's show, the ED show, and Rachael Maddow's show. Beck crushes MSNBC's Chris Matthews and O'Reilly crushes Olbermann in the ratings while FOX News generally obliterates MSNBC in all time slots, yet P & G would prefer to advertise on MSNBC. They must be getting a great deal to spend their advertising dollars on MSNBC's third-rate programs.
