Too Stupid To Agree With Obama?

Jonathan Alter, senior editor and columnist at Newsweek magazine, was on Keith Olberman's show tonight and in typical left wing fashion implied that anyone who doesn't agree with Obama is just basically stupid. Speaking of Obama, Alter said and I quote:

The problem is that he hasn't gotten to the core moral argument....But he hasn't closed the sale with the American people. In fact, he hasn't really begun that sale, and instead everybody is talking about public options and costs and this and that. And not focusing on the fact that this bill would end discrimination against sick people, or people who have been sick, or might be sick in the future, and that really is, if you look at it, in principle, its a combination of the social security act and the civil rights act. And its just not being sold that way. As so people aren't buying right now...And you do have to KISS - keep it simple stupid. If you look at the polling that we saw at MSNBC earlier in the day of people understanding or misunderstanding of the bill. Barack Obama likes to treat people like adults but I think in this case maybe he should treat them a little more like children and simplify.

So Alter thinks Obama should use the old tried and true method of KISS (keep it simple stupid) while out on the stump trying to sell his pathetic health care reform mess to the poor, stupid masses who just don't have the intellectual wherewithal to understand the bill of goods they are being sold.

This is an old, elitist left-wing tactic. Remember Reagan was stupid, Quail was stupid, Bush 43 was stupid, and, of course, Sarah Palin wasn't just stupid, she was portrayed as stupid, cheap trailer park trash who had the audacity to be elected mayor of an Alaskan city and then elected governor of the entire state of Alaska. Of course, the snotty, east coast elitist MSM was enthralled by the racist, anti-American community organizer who became the left-wing Mesiah and ultimately the President.

I wonder what Alter's IQ is? Frankly, I'd be surprised if Alter is even potty trained.
