The Politics Of Provocation

Career diplomat and former United States ambassador to Mauritania, Edward Peck, was among those who were accompanying the flotilla attempting to break the Israeli blockade of the Gaza Strip. This was an obvious attempt to provoke Israel, which is demanding to inspect shipments to the Gaza Strip for rockets and other weapons. Peck is basically a few cards short of a deck. From Wikipedia:

He argues that while Hezbollah could be considered a terrorist organization, it is no more terrorist than Israel or the U.S. itself.

If you see this man on television, and you probably will if you watch MSNBC or Fox News, understand where he is coming from and don't be fooled by his demeanor. He is generally as anti-Semitic and anti-American as our beloved President, Barack Hussein Obama. There is even a rumor that Peck has offered to accompany Obama on his next apology tour.
