Fox Still Trying to Embarrass Trump

Just watched Fox News Sunday With Chris Wallace and was disappointed in Chris Wallace's attempt to continue to demean Trump. I wrote to the show on their facebook page and said this:

The question you posed to Trump about his demeanor was fine, however, after Trump indicated that he was going to moderate his demeanor your snarky comment 'when are you going to do it?' was really uncalled for. You are becoming a commentator when you do that - not a hard news journalist. That is the same crap Trump complained about after the first debate when y'all tried to embarrass him with your first question - raise your hand if you won't agree to sign a pledge to support the Republican nominee - knowing full well that Trump would be the only one to raise his hand. If you had continued to to do that with every question - on citizenship for illegals, support for common core, full repeal of Obamacare, etc. - that would have been better but you didn't. You started off only trying to embarrass Trump. Become a commentator or keep your snarky little comments to yourself.

Eminent Domain Hypocrisy

Jeb Bush has been highly critical of Donald Trump for trying to acquire the home of a 'little old' lady who didn’t want to sell her home to him through eminent domain. Trump went to court and eventually lost.

It has just come to my attention that the Bush family, namely his brother, former President George W., profited handsomely through his interest in the Texas Rangers baseball team. The team uses a stadium in Arlington, Texas, which was built, while the former President was involved, with extensive use of eminent domain. Apparently, President George W. Bush, prior to becoming governor of Texas, invested +/- $600,000 in 1989 for a 1.8 percent interest in the team (plus another 10 percent bonus if the team is later sold and the investors get back their original investment plus interest) and ended up with +/- $15,000,000 in 1998 when the team was, in fact, sold . A very tidy profit to say the least.

You can read a more complete history of the Arlington stadium saga here.

I am sure that Jeb is demanding that all of his brother's ill-gotten gains be returned to those whose property was stolen from them at the point of a gun.

But for now, Jeb Bush, as he wipes all that egg off his face, should just sit down and shut up. How embarrassing!

Note: I would like to point out that I am not a fan of eminent domain for private use and have actually been victim of a taking of a property which was supposedly to be used for airport expansion, but is now a neighborhood Wal-Mart. We were forced to sell at appraised value and no one could really fight the taking because the individual properties were so inexpensive to begin with.

Rubio On Immigration

Marco Rubio, famously of the Senate gang-of-8 that came up with an immigration reform bill that proposed a pathway to citizenship for illegal immigrants, still refuses to denounce his support for said pathway to citizenship for millions of illegal immigrants. He only says that we have to secure the border first.

His big claim on the campaign trail is that he will unite Americans...he will unite us alright...with millions of illegal immigrants.

He cannot be trusted on immigration reform - period.

Iowa Kerfuffle

If people didn't vote for Carson because of CNN/Cruz statements, I'm not certain all votes went to Ted Cruz. It is possible that the votes were spread around among all the candidates evenly.

Bill Clinton's Back On Stump For Hillary

Bill Clinton is back on the stump for Hillary and he has a little more pep in his step than I have noticed in some time.

Could it be that she enticed him to come out and campaign for her with a promise that if she were elected president, Bill would be allowed to interview all the interns who were applying for jobs at the White House?

Just wondering........
