Glenn Beck Is 'Off The Reservation' This Time
Last week Glenn Beck decided to engage in a 'what if' conversation about Donald Trump with fiction writer Brad Thor that I really didn't understand the need for. I believe the conversation went something like this ...
What if Donald J. Trump is elected President and then decided to suspend the constitution? Ultimately the conversation got around to: Should he be assassinated if he were to do something like that?
The whole thing was ridiculous. I even said to someone at the time that I thought Beck was "off the reservation."
There isn't enough to discuss about Trump that is based on actual fact that he had to go into the realm of the absurd?
Beck has made it abundantly clear that he disagrees with Trump on just about everything and despises him to boot.
I believe that because of his obvious dislike for Trump, Beck has decided that this is the year for him and perhaps a number of his sycophants to stand by their conservative ideals and only vote for someone who, in large measure, shares those ideals.
I understand that desire and would love to find someone in every political race who shared all of my ideals.
In past years it has been hard to hold my nose and vote for RINO's like George H.W. Bush, Bob Dole, John McCain, and Mitt Romney, but I managed to do it.
The problem is that there are generally only a couple viable options. I have to decide who has the county's best interests at heart or, at the very minimum, who will do the least damage. The choice is to vote for the lesser of two evils or stay home
Staying home is not an option for me. If I stay home it means that whatever voice I have isn't heard at all.
Cauliflower, Brussels sprouts or starve.....
This year's presidential election, while there are many pressing issues facing the country, is about who do I want to nominate the next Supreme Court justice(s) for the next 4 years and the answer is crystal clear.
Hillary Clinton, Donald J. Trump or starve.....
