FBI Screws The Pooch Again

It's worse than I initially thought!!

The FBI had another, more specific tip about the Florida school shooter, Nikolas Cruz, on January 5th of this year and they did nothing with it. Today they actually managed an apology. Sorry..... So Sorry.......

Trump is changing the name of the FBI to the Federal Bureau Of Incompetence.

FBI Doing A Bang Up Job?

I am getting a little tired of everyone telling us what a great job the FBI rank and file are doing while the upper echelon at the FBI were plotting the demise of the Trump campaign and subsequent Trump administration.

Granted, the FBI was able to protect us from the likes of that notorious gangster, Martha Stewart, who got thrown in prison for lying to the FBI. The Mueller/FBI investigation into Russian collusion with Trump campaign/administration officials has extracted a guilty plea of lying to the FBI from another gangster, General Michael Flynn.

Mysteriously, former FBI Director James Comey testified before Congress that General Flynn didn’t lie to the FBI. Who's not telling the truth?

Unfortunately, the FBI famously missed the Tsarnaev brothers who were able to build and explode 2 bombs at the Boston marathon in 2013, killing 2 and gravely wounded 260 others. The FBI had been given a head-up from Russia about the Tsarnaev brothers, but the brothers went on their merry way after being interviewed by the FBI.

According to CBS news in an April 19, 2013, story, the FBI was also looking into Major Hasan Nadal before he killed 13 and wounded 29 others in the Fort Hood shootings and Carlos Bledsoe (Abdulhakim Mujahid Muhammad) of Little Rock, Arkansas, before he shot up an Army recruiting office on June 1, 2009, killing one soldier and wounding another.

Now, it's being widely reported that there was a posting on social media from Nikolas Cruz stating that he wanted to be a ‘professional school shooter’ yet the FBI didn’t bother to follow up on the posting other than to visit with the person who reported the posting.

I guess the FBI agents were too busy e-mailing each other anti-Trump messages to do any real work.

Florida Shooting A Drop In The Ocean

The school shooting in Florida that left 17 dead and many others wounded was, of course, a tragedy for those involved and for America in general. News reports would seem to portray this as a common occurrence, just another day, just another school shooting. This was, according to Shepard Smith of Fox News, the 25th school shooting in the United States since the Columbine school shooting on April 20, 1999. ABC News reported on ‘20/20’ that FBI records show there have been 141 deaths in those school shootings. Of course, 1 school shooting is one too many but in a country of 320,000,000 people this is really a drop in the ocean. Hell, on a bad weekend in Chicago these days there are 25 shootings. In 2016 according to the Chicago Police Department, Chicago had 762 murders, 3,550 shooting incidents and 4,331 shooting victims. All this while Chicago boasts some of the strictest gun laws in the country. It is unlikely that more gun laws could do much to stem the violence. The problem is much deeper than a lack of laws.
