Romney On RomneyCare

Today Mitt Romney gave a speech at the University of Michigan that was supposed to put the controversy on the medical plan he approved while he was the governor of Massachusetts to rest.

In the speech, he described his plan as "a state solution to a state problem," while describing ObamaCare as "a power grab by the federal government."

He should have described his plan as 'a failed solution to a state problem,' but more importantly he should know that a power grab by a state government (or a federal government) is a power grab no matter how much powdered sugar you pour on it.

Romney's unwillingness to distance himself from any form of mandated health care is sure to doom his presidential aspirations.
