The Left Just Can't Handle It

It's the funniest thing ever when Saturday Night Live pokes fun at Sarah Palin mercilessly. When Letterman skewered Palin's daughter, that was hilarious. When any number of late night 'comedians' hammer away on Republicans it is always 'in good clean fun.' Remember when former Vice-president Dan Quail had his problem with the word potato?

Cartoonist Dixon Diaz has done a some very funny cartoons aimed directly at HRH Obama and Hillary Clinton, but the LA Times decided that he isn't funny anymore and stopped carrying his strip.

Here are some examples that were sent to me that I find very amusing....

Election Post Mortems

Donald J Trump is the President-Elect and the hand-wringing, name calling and demonstrating has begun in earnest.

Last night and today, NBC, MSNBC and Fox News all had black commentators who called the President-Elect a racist.

On MSNBC, Eddie Glaude, Jr., the chair of the Center for African-American Studies and the William S. Tod Professor of Religion and African-American Studies at Princeton University, blamed the election of Trump on 'whitey' saying, white America has just elected "an ill-informed racist who, by any standard, is morally and ethically bankrupt."

A brief analysis of the facts lead to a different conclusion about who elected who.

I saw a report that indicated Trump got about the same number of white votes as Romney got in 2012.

The fact is that Trump made more overtures and appeals to the African-American community than either of the last two Republican candidates combined, so it is likely that Trump got a slightly larger percentage of the African-American vote than Romney got in 2012.

And finally, Glaude and all the other race baiters should remember that many African-Americans who voted for HRH Obama were no-shows this year at the polls.

With all this in mind, the only logical conclusion that one can come to is that the African-American community were responsible for electing Donald J. Trump as America's 45th President.
